Russian Grand Prix
A Bit of Background:
The Sochi Autodrom is a Hermann Tilke-designed track that winds its way around the city’s 2014 Winter Olympic park. Stadiums and wide-open spaces give fans plenty of viewing options around the 5.84km track, which is essentially a street circuit in character.
But don’t expect any snow. Sochi may have played host to the winter Olympics, but the Black Sea resort is also one of the most popular beach resorts in the country during the summer months, earning itself a reputation as Russia’s playground.
What Makes Sochi Unique:
Turn 3 is a seemingly never-ending left-hander that must be a strain on even the most prepared necks.
